Contact the seller and ask for a discount and keep it, that isn't going to hurt anything.
Get the biggest adjustable wrench you have or two if you only have a small one:p set it to fit the sheet metal and then bend it straight, do it right and it will be like it never happened.

BTW, great burner, had mine for years and love it, not as pretty as yours anymore though:mug:
