Resin. First cub scout meeting of the year was a bust. 2 ****ing kids, and I'm getting roped in as a quasi "leader". What's wrong with these people trusting me to "lead"?

I think ours came out a week or so ago. Gotta stock up on it. I don't think our labels here changed though...

Resin #2 with some pulled pork nachos. Fresh sliced jalapeños on them might kill me.

Label change was only effective in MI and two other lame states. ;)

Just started distro here a few months ago... Haven't located it yet. Been actively looking too.

Word is it was draft first and package recently. I'm sure we only got it 2 weeks ago when package was first introduced.

It is being distributed by a liquor company up here, so no idea how it will get treated. Probably poorly.

Wasn't going to drink any beer tonight, but this barely counts. Bottle bucket dregs of my Petite Saison, after bottling that and making up a quick 3 gallon batch of a short mead. 3 lbs mesquite honey, 3 tbsp fresh crushed black pepper, and 1 lb of dried mixed blueberries, cherries, and strawberries (TJ's berry medley). I don't make this often so hopefully it turns out well.

I sorta had a celebration beer tonight:

An Imperial Red India Pale Ale, 9.7% ABV, 750mL, about 800 IBUs. It's pretty resinous, piney, and dank. Too piney for me, with an interesting nice-and-orangey-turning-into-grapefruit-pithy aftertaste.

Good lord dude. Congrats.

I do about 500,000 a month including my time at work. I can't imagine doing much more.

You should probably guzzle a Chocolate Rain.

Not a bad idea, except getting up at 2:30 would have been rough. Coffee waiting on the train. At least today's trip will be easy - town hall meeting in the morning, boat cruise "picnic" in the afternoon and then head home.

They changed it in MI and (I think) one other state. After making fun of the situation in either VT or NH a year or two back, they found that the baby on the label was never approved in MI, and the MLCC or whoever does those things made them change it. Founders is having some fun with it, I have to give them credit. But we want the baby back.

A lot of folks talking about more coffee in this year's batch. When it warmed up I noticed the same thing. In any event it's delicious as ever.

I was the archery director for a few years at summer camp. Its easy. Just give the kids some rope, a knife and send them into the woods for the day.

Coffee. Big interview tonight after work.
