Water.

So this thread about letting beer sit for so long is amusing me. I love that nearly every post made by the OP somehow inserts how his beer has won gold medals. I think the point has been made.

My beer wins gold medals all the time.

Although, it is hard to find time to brew... What with my patients always calling me and the DA up my ass (I'm a lawyer doctor), my MENSA meetings and modeling for Huge Wang Weekly, I can hardly brew a batch every other day.

But I still manage to bring home the gold.

Hey, I'm all for people winning medals and being proud, but being obnoxious about it is silly.

All hell is about to break lose with this severe thunderstorm in about 1 minute. Neighbor is out mowing grass. Uhh.

I have won gold medals. I have also had the judges hand my ass to me telling me that the beer was full of hot side aeration, etc. I stopped entering comps because in my area at least it is just a pissing contest among a select few and the judges have their heads so far up their arses they can't see or taste beer to save their lives. Bottom line, homebrew medals don't mean much to me. Just give me tasty beer and I'm happy.

Water to stay OT

Second pour of stone RIS, or IRS as the case may be. Now the driveway has 9 tons of stone and is starting to look like something. Old suburbans make good rollers.

Oops. I'm sorry. I don't know what I did, but I'm sorry.

Water and making a small 3724 starter (yay super-fresh yeast) that I'll pitch tomorrow at high-ish-kräusen for my go-to Saison.
