As mentioned earlier, I found a fridge in my lab tucked away behind some old equipment. Dug around a bit and found out it is a 1968 GM Frigidaire, plugged it in and the compressor kicked on and the freezer area cooled after about 20 mins. Tomorrow I am going to plug it u and let it run all day and see how she preforms.

I am thinking she will make a nice kezzer. Ideas on color(s) I should refinish it in?

What does she look like now?

White, interior needs a good cleaning. I will post pics tomorrow when I dig her out of her tomb.
What type of insulation? I had an early 60's deep freezer in the cellar when I bought, meant to throw it out for a long time, it is now my fermentation chamber, chamber of secrets if you would:D, kidding!:D
It was insulated with fiberglass which I pulled out and replaced with expandable 2 part foam, works wonderful now:D

Coffee.

For any that may be interested to know, it appears @brewinhooligan is going through a pretty rough time right now. He's been sick and in the hospital. From the information I know, he has meningitis and a mass on one side of his lungs. They're not sure if it's cancer. He and his family could definitely use some positive thoughts and prayers their way.

Late to the party, but thank you for the support!!! Let me say that viral meningitis is a real biotch and damn near two weeks later I am just barely starting to have an appetite. I have a 2mm nodule on my lower right lung as well and we haven't been able to get that completely checked out. I got out of the hospital the end of last week but I still have no strength and the headaches are crippling.

Celebrating the appetite coming back and getting crazy drinking this instead of water
