As mentioned earlier, I found a fridge in my lab tucked away behind some old equipment. Dug around a bit and found out it is a 1968 GM Frigidaire, plugged it in and the compressor kicked on and the freezer area cooled after about 20 mins. Tomorrow I am going to plug it u and let it run all day and see how she preforms.

I am thinking she will make a nice kezzer. Ideas on color(s) I should refinish it in?

remodeling my kitchen so I let my daughter remove the backsplash and she tore a bunch of holes in the wall. I havent had a chance to ask her about it but I am wondering if she used a jack hammer to remove the tiles. More ****ing work for me. I hate owning a home I lived in a 3 bedroom condo for years before buying this house 17 years ago and I loved it! When it snowed some dude showed up and shoveled, when the grass grew some dude showed up and mowed, when the leaves fell from the trees some dude showed up with a rake and a leaf blower. 17 years of being a homeowner and I still miss that place. Owning a home is so overrated.

If there's any flavor OTHER than acid, it's not La Folie ;)

Sorry, I just don't see why everyone loves that beer. One dimensional and unbalanced. At least every time I've had it...

Water then going to the gym.

I can see that argument. Mine is like a mild la folie. It's at about 1.008 so hopefully it will get a little more sour and pick up more oak flavor. I added an ounce of medium toast oak about 3 weeks ago.

Rather do all of that **** myself. Just sayin'.

Water after killing a black cherry ice from Rita's.

As much as I'd like the semi-freedoms of home ownership, I love the opposite semi-freedoms of renting. When the AC unit breaks or the drain needs snaking, it's someone else's problem. Whenever anything at all breaks, someone else's problem. Of course I usually end up fixing it myself just because I don't want to wait for maintenance.
