Yeah. He pretty much knows that if I see his face again it'll be purple within five minutes. They're awesome kids. I owe the big one a beer, but we'll catch up.

Already have plans, trust me. My sisters and I survived a hellish childhood at the hands of much larger men. Last I checked, one was left. We rise above.

Wee Heavy and 80/- gravity samples. 6°P and 8.1% ABV, and 4°P and 4.6% ABV respectively, and both very, very tasty. Similar outside of strength, but that's not at all surprising given that they came from the same mash ;)

What's brewing today?

Coff. Going to be too hot for me to want to brew today. Lake sounds like a better idea. Neighbor is bringing the two jetskis. I'm bringing the grill and food. And beer.
 
Have faith @1977Brewer, it will happen eventually. We have a friend in a similar situation; the dad isn't there, the mom a meth addict, the kids have been in and out of care for years. They finally got the paperwork from the state of California for fostering/adopting them. Instant growth in family size. Good things can happen. Sometimes it just takes a while.

Coffee. Do you think I have to grow gills before it stops raining around here?!?!

Water, although after learning that my cat needs a third surgery I'm really debating going to something stronger. 5 o'clock somewhere amiright?
