In my experience, people counter offers at full price when they feel insulted. When I was buying my first house, I put an offer in dropping them 15k, making them fix a bunch of stuff and paying my closing costs. They countered by raising the asking price 10k.

We offered 97% of asking price when houses here are selling for 98-100%. No closing costs and no contingencies. They had another offer so I'm guessing that's why they countered how they did, but who knows. Pissed me off either way.

It did, but my realtor told me they wouldn't like my offer before she submitted it. Sounds like you are on the right track with what happened in your situation.

My stomach lining just corroded from this vodka and lime juice. I was manning the grill at my buddy's house and had 3 coronas/waters there that did absolutely nothing for me. I might fall asleep after this drink. Hopefully, I get to watch one quarter of game 5 of the NBA finals.

Denver has seen some Sun King, but not a lot, not regularly, and I think not recently. It didn't really fly off the shelves the way a lot of new stuff can.

And I couldn't decide what beer to have, so I'm drinking the wine I had to open for a recipe.
