Avery New World Porter. trying to broaden my horizons a bit so I took a chance on Avery since I've heard good things about them. A nice toasted flavor to it, not too bad for a porter! After reading the label I found out it's dry hopped. Anyone know what kind of hops they use?

Now I'm washing it down with a SN Bigfoot Ale. Mmmmm....lightheaded.

Avery is the real deal. Their tasting room in Boulder is a great place. Love their beers. They make an Imperial Pumpkin in the fall that's out of this world.

My favorite places in the Denver area are:

1. Oskar Blues
2. Left Hand
3. Avery
4. Great Divide
5. Upslope
