True. But so does everybody. It's not like breaking bad where heisenberg turns himself in at the end and goes into witness protection and thus starts the show Malcolm in the middle.

I thought the Breaking Bad ending was absolutely awful. Too many unfinished stories.

At least with Game of Thrones you don't need spoilers to know they're all going to die.

Two cans of this. Not sure why I've been digging in the hops lately, but this is really good. Amarillo, Centennial, Simcoe, and Columbus. And a nice solid 4.5%.

Definitely one of the better locals.

Our state motto is "at least we're not MS".

Well, I actually meant LA of the California variety. There are enough Louisianians around these parts, I have no problems with them.....well, very few problems with them. East Texas could just be called west Louisiana.
But, I agree, atleast you're not in Mississippi.

This is great, Mark! Thanks for sharing.

@mcbaumannerb

Glad you enjoyed!

Had a Hop Stinger at the den leaders house earlier (no pic)

Came home and drank this to get creative juices flowing while writing our Arrow of Light ceremony

Now having this as a celebration that I finished the ceremony.

Will probably regret this when I get up at 2:30 tomorrow morning...

Yeah, well it could have ended far worse. Was actually finishable unlike some. And reasonably believable.

As for GoT. Are you reading the books or just going TV. And if reading the books, do you really want to watch the rest?

Haven't tried that one by Ox yet. Still haven't made it to the brewery. Found the chile pepper stout though and that was pretty good. Also, hops are good because flavor is good. After all those milds a little flavor is very nice. :mug:

Haven't read any of the books, just watching the series the same way I watch everything else on non-network TV.

I haven't made it out there either. I avoid Loudoun whenever possible, and Ashburn is a Leave-It-To-Beaver-Ville hellhole. But I've grabbed what I've seen on the shelves. I grabbed a couple of that Kristin's Passion pepper porter, which was hands down my favorite they've done. I tried the Jalapeno Pale which wasn't bad either. This I'd call second best.

Also, my Mild has plenty of flavor, *********.

The books are better (as usual) but the show is still quite good. Probably the best TV series interpretation of a good book I have yet seen. Have read all the ones that are out. So much is left out and they have not yet caught up to the books. I will admit the last few books get a little wordy though. Still worth a read though.

My parents live out in Loudoun, so I should eventually make it out there. I don't blame you otherwise, but at least there are fewer Maryland drivers out there. The porter is the one I was talking about. Quite good. My favorite local brewery is still 3 Stars though. Will have to check out their version of liquid hops.

Haven't tried your mild though so I can't judge that. But there is no shame in being a bit hop headed. Besides, I couldn't help myself.

Okay. Nightcap of another pour of bourbony HB stout. I will probably pay for this tomorrow. Especially because tomorrow is only tuesday. Come on people. Sign my petition. Lets make the 8 day week with 3 day weekend a thing.

I say keep the 7 day week, but reduce the work week to 4 days.

Seconds after this picture, the head broke free from its glass confines and overflowed onto the table. Great beer, though. I'm really enjoying this.

One more from fishboy.

Thanks @finsfan

I think the tripel has kinda peaked out. getting a little too malty for me at this point. Cheers!

Just cleaned the spoils of a pickup today. Four five gallon carboys, a 6.5 gallon carboy, and you cant really miss the 12 gallon pyrex one! ended up throwing away a lot that he gave me though. Two plastic bucket fermenters, hoses, funnels, and three shoe boxes of wine minerals that were all really old. I think the best part of the haul is the bottle caps though!
