Took a sip, and thought "crap how old is this". Looked at the date stamp. Bottled May 4th of this year, so it's fresh as can be for a SoCal brew. One of the few times you'll ever hear me say this, but not enough hops. I was expecting more based on how many people I see drinking this stuff. Should have gone for the regular Sculpin instead. Tasty enough, but I'm disappointed. Also, double pour because I can.

The grapefruit variant is all about the grapefruit, not as much hop flavor as one would expect from a west coast IPA. It's good, but not $16 a six pack good.

I knew it, but couldn't find your post to quote.

After having Anderson Valley, this is like drinking tart soda.

Too sweet for a Gose in my opinion.

I need to score some Westbrook soon.

I really need some Westbrook, too. I've only had half a can of one once and it was awesome. Definitely need more.

I saw it in Denver this week for $15 and debated. My head said yes, but my heart said Crooked Stave.
