It's pretty good, man. I fall in the "I don't understand the regular Sculpin hype" category, but Grapefruit Sculpin is a whole different story.

Damn, you're good. I call sd home. I live in north county

I'm grew up in Ventura, but lived in SD for a while. Met my wife there actually. Always thinking about moving back...no place compares, and I've lived alot of places.

It's an IPA sort of day!! :rockin:

Mine show up sideways if I don't take it in landscape...I always forget which way I need to take the picture.

How is that? Just tried Hop Hunter and was impressed...best IPA I've had from SN to date.

To jump in, the golden is a good beer but not their best, hop hunter and torpedo were better IMO. I got it in a 4-way IPA 12 pack that I purchased because that is apparently the only way to get ruthless rye IPA this year. Ruthless was the highlight of that to me... But I had been craving it for a year.

Hmmmm...I have a soft spot for SN beers since SNPA introduced me to craft beer while living in Chico about 15 years ago, so I don't judge them like I would beer from another brewery. They do need to step their game up though...right now they're surviving on their reputation which was well deserved 20 years ago but they've fallen behind in the hoppy beer race lately. I thought Hop Hunter was a step in the right direction, though...6%er that drinks exactly line a session IPA. Strictly my opinion here.
