To jump in, the golden is a good beer but not their best, hop hunter and torpedo were better IMO. I got it in a 4-way IPA 12 pack that I purchased because that is apparently the only way to get ruthless rye IPA this year. Ruthless was the highlight of that to me... But I had been craving it for a year.

Light on the carb, but it worked for me. Had a HB sour blackberry cider. Now this beauty. One of my favorites

Hmmmm...I have a soft spot for SN beers since SNPA introduced me to craft beer while living in Chico about 15 years ago, so I don't judge them like I would beer from another brewery. They do need to step their game up though...right now they're surviving on their reputation which was well deserved 20 years ago but they've fallen behind in the hoppy beer race lately. I thought Hop Hunter was a step in the right direction, though...6%er that drinks exactly line a session IPA. Strictly my opinion here.

Not bad. Not as hoppy as I would have guessed. A little light on flavor for an IPA but overall, very drinkable.
