Sick beer. Tastes very similar to my black IPA. Slightly more chocolate flavor in this one. This is ****ing solid, @DisturbdChemist

Almost puked changing this last one. Nothing kills a beer buzz quicker than a **** bomb.
Just got home from work. I was debating taking a nap since I only got like 3.5 hours of sleep last night, but I said, "Flocc it!" and decided to crack a beer instead.
"Get down on your knees! Hands behind your head! Interlock your fingers! Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law..." I'd rather change a diaper.
coffee. gotta run to the grocery store. but I did hook up the ice maker after having the fridge for only 5 years!
Need.

This is the most unplanned out, no note taking, brew I've ever had. I have an IPA curse. Something goes seriously wrong every time I brew one.
1st IPA (an extract when I had no clue), I pitched the yeast then thought the side of the fermenter felt warm. My thermometer was broken...pitched at 95°F. Worst been I've ever brewed.
2nd - dumped half the grain bill on the floor trying to mill it. Turned out ok...for a 4% IPA.
3rd - today. Don't know what went wrong with water chemistery, but will investigate. Then, the propane debacle. God doesn't want me brewing IPA.
I've had that buzz kill, too. Way worse than a ****ty diaper.

That's one of my favorite shows. I love it when people make reference to that show and when they get my references to it.
What happened with the water was your mash ph off?
Yes. 6+ after 15 minutes. Added lactic acid and got it down to 5.5 for most of the mash, buy it brings into question the whole water profile calculation.
