Daydreaming about brewing with the new equipment. Considering hitting some stupid store to see if I can find some of those snow-block makers and get my brother to help me build a Snow Castle Brew Fort in our yard. Its going to be forever before this snow melts enough.

Need more water... preparing for full on head-cold.

Coffee.

Got the snowblower running for a hot minute last night, then proceeded to break a necessary part of the carburetor. ****!

Stop breaking stuff!! If you got the beer, I got the shovel :)

Reminds me of the first time I had to use the blower at my house. Before the snow fell, I made sure the thing was in working order and all gased up. We got several inches of snow and I decided it was time for the blower's maiden voyage. But, like a total *******, I left it in the shed in the backyard. I spent more time shoveling out the shed entrance and dragging the blower through the yard than it would have taken me to shovel the damn drive.

I think I might have one of those snow block builders in my garage.

That's not too bad. I realized last night I'm retarded. I narrowed the problem down to a fuel delivery issue and decided to drain the tank and refill it with fresh gas, only to have 2 drops come out of the line. After looking into a bone dry tank, I realized that the fuel delivery issue was that there was none.:what: ****! Then to break the carburetor was just the icing on the ****ing cake.

Mine did actually get worse. Then, I kept the blower in the garage, because I am smart...S-M-R-T. After two or three snowfalls, I went to start the blower after a heavy snow and it was out of gas. I'll give you two guesses as to where the gas can was...

Mind is now pretty much mush - should make the rest of the morning easier to take.

This one is for @BUCKNUTS - I'm sure you'll be happy to know that your favorite beer has the Dar seal of approval, right? Right?! ;)

http://youtu.be/vytaTtWQMrU

And @Billy-Klubb there must be something wrong with your sniffer and taste buds. You only picked up two citrus flavors in your last review - Dar got 8! You're gonna have to step up your game brutha! :D

And @Remmy - do you know what happened to his first 56 reviews? Someone needs to locate these lost videos. For our amusement.

*edit* - Silly me. @finsfan That is all.

triple shot of espresso while my wife and I call audibles for our Disney itinerary, which is only 21 days and a wake up away. Not sure where we are going to get reservations for Epcot this late in the game, but we may be getting in on the Flower Show. Hopefully the Biergarten is open lol

Hey @supervisingchildren, have you tried anything from Community Beer Works yet?

I am ashamed to say I was not really aware the nanobrewery existed until recently when I've started to see a few things from them on tap at local establishments. The name always kind of made me overlook it I think. Anyway, just found out it is a five minute drive from my house

I'll be giving them a visit soon to see what they are all about.

Coffee.

back when we had snow, I gave my kids my oldest fermentation bucket to use for building snow forts and bought myself a new one. Happy kids - new brew gear - happy dad. :ban:

coffee at the office

Still haven't tried anything from them to my knowledge. Might have, just not sure haha

Cherry coke and hunting down parts.

Darwin got this one right. Black Rajah is even better imo. I just picked up a 6 pack but I won't be posting a review. BK and Dar's videos are tough acts to follow.

I might have another beer just to numb myself from the pain knowing you watched an entire Dar video.

@Dave37 's vanilla bean RIS. 5 out of 5. Every time.

God that looks yummy. Never had a RIS though.

Brew day, *******.

Kind of wish I got a pot with a thermometer on it, though I would probably break it somehow.

Washed hands 20 times so far today, massive amounts of water and supplements. Not letting this cold get me.

Do you use the outdoor spigot to get water to your chiller during the winter? That is one of the main reasons I rarely brew during the cold months.

I use mine, although its not as cold here as it is in your area. I keep my hose inside and only take it out to chill. The spigot has been frozen shut before so I just pour boiling water on it until it unfreezes. I was able to chill 12 gallons of saison the other week to 60 degrees in under 30 minutes. Thats the best part of cold weather brewing IMO. :D

I feel there is no point to have a thermometer on the boil kettle. The mash yes. just useless..

Probably going to pick up a new boil kettle and possible a conical with the tax return I'm getting

I'm jealous @remmy . Need to brew again. Got a yeast cake than needs a new brew on it. Do not have time to get to the brew shop. :(

I use mine, but always shut-off the supply in the basement until I need it. That way i don't have any issues when I'm ready to use it (and no busted pipes in the house!)

During the spring and summer months, yes, I do. It's just to the right of that pic. Problem during winter is, I don't keep the hose outside and the line on the chiller I have isn't long enough to reach the faucet. So, I haul the pot into my basement where I have a farmhouse sink with a threaded faucet.

I've done enough explaining. I need another beer.
