My RIS, same recipe as Finsfan's'. Mines darker, but otherwise, VERY similar

Can't figure out how to like that from my phone but that pic is hilarious.

It is available in texas. Ive seen it. Though its been a couple of months. I dont see WWS though i want more of that!

I have a couple WWS in the cellar but I've never had one... :cross:

All you guys posting pics of broken glasses today jinxed me. Prairie Dino Glass bit the dust just now...

Drinking my last Bluebird XB then probably going to bed. Looooong brew day tomorrow. Trying my first turbid mash for a Lamebic, figuring ~2ish to 3ish hour mash and ~4ish to 5ish hour boil.

What don't you like? Not available here in Texas.

For what's purported to be a DIPA, it's intensely malty with little hop character beyond bitterness. It's closer to a barleywine than a DIPA. Not that I don't like barleywines, but when I want a DIPA, I want in your face hop aroma and flavor, with only as much malt as is necessary to support the hops and no more.

I have about 8 bottles of WWS. I'll bring one for you when I come home for Christmas.

Awesome. Ill gladly have some hb ready and can plan mini bottle share with wes at my place. Let me know! Ill have some stuff i can set aside

The whole top comes off. Its odd. I taste a lot of metal that the reg top. Weird but cool

So fresh and so clean, clean!

Light and crisp. The hop character reminds me of pine trees in Oregon.

*(From stone blog)
Hops bill: Calypso during the mash; Super Galena hop extract for bittering; Simcoe, Delta, Target, and Amarillo for flavor; Motueka, Citra, and Cascade for aroma; Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy for dry hopping

I just found out that my Citra Saison pairs well with a salami and colby jack sandwich, on a hamburger bun with Duke's Mayonnaise. Gone too fast for a photo! So, I decided to have dessert: Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale and Pumpkin Spice Oreo Cookies. Hello, Mr. Diabeetus. C'mon in! And moving in the direction of Smackedville.

After bottling sample of my Sauvin Blanc. Tastes great. I'm looking forward to this one being carbed up. It actually has some flavor characteristics of Sauvignon Blanc. It will also be nice when the Brett really starts to do its thing now that it's bottled. ImageUploadedByHome Brew1412392711.357421.jpg

Awesome wes! Save me a bottle.

The floor claimed another bottle. Sh!t. Oh well ill get another one. Was looking forward to it. 8 bucks down the drain

No problem. There's one with your name on it.
What did you drop? There's been a lot of glass breaking going on lately. Bucknut breaking his oven door started something bad. Had a bottle crack tonight while bottling. I really should get a better capper.
