Do you just cover it up and leave it out there? The idea has crossed my mind but had not tried it.

Put the lid on, attached a blow-off tube and then covered it with a big garbage bag (tucking the flaps under the bottom of the bucket.) There's a good chance of t-storms the next couple of days so I didn't want to give water any chance on getting in, but temperature-wise it should be good. 3276 takes 70-95 and we'll be hitting the high-80's today and tomorrow and then mid-80's for a few days. I think this will give me a lot of funk :rockin:

It will. I don't know if you remember, but I had left mine fermenting near my fire pit during winter. I used a different sacc strain, though, which is notorious for stalling in the 20s. It did in fact stall at 1.026 and that's a good thing because I had Brett B in there. From what I had read, the more sacc and remaining sugars there are for the brett to eat, the funkier it'll get. Mine is already smelling pretty funky.

Afternoon Coff.

Little sumpin extra to start the evening.

Belgian blonde. Starting double brew night

Saw your post earlier and almost, almost convinced myself to brew tonight. Only problem is I have to go to the office tomorrow. That's what stopped me. I'm itching to brew.

You're right. It is me. It sucks. But once I start working from home again, it's on. I've already done 20 or 21 batches this year alone.

What are you making?

We planned on going to the grocery store after dinner here but my gin and tonic says otherwise. Her being on her third vodka tonic just decided "screw the groceries, let's go to the bottle shop and go home and get hammered on the patio".
