Comparing my Helles to New Belgium's... I actually like mine better. Normally I am very critical of my beers, and while mine isn't perfect, it is better than this watery beer from NB.

Magnesium Citrate. About to pop my third bottle of the evening. And tons of water. Big day tomorrow.

Ok, gotta go...

Skipped about a weeks worth of posts. Did I miss anything?
.

We all collaborated on what we unanimously agreed was the greatest beer of all time. We then lost the recipe. Now we only have a beer that we brewed as a tribute to the greatest beer in the world.

This is nice. Hops have kind of faded. Can't find a date on the bottle.

Letsee... Stout is always in season, sour stouts even more so.
Much beer was consumed
Beer
Berry-Punches from Billy
Coffee.
Beer
the occasional rice wine, apfelwein, and probably borboun
and beer.

And I am going to add more Coffee to the list. Because it is morning, I have only had 4 hours of sleep, and I really do not want to wake up today even though I am already at work.

Been at the office for almost an hour. ****ing horrible day of work ahead.

Coff.

More coffee...

For those new(ish) all grain brewers who might be interested, it looks like Amazon has one of the Hanna Instruments pH meters on lightning deal today at 3pm (EDT) ... definitely worth looking at if the price is right (normal price is $26, so I'd guess it will be under $20 on the deal.)

Coffee.

Thursday is usually my most pleasant work day of the week. Keeping my fingers crossed that today follows the pattern.

Lucky you. Thurs and Fri are usually the worst days for me - consistently.

More Coff. Wish I had a beer right now. Actually, I have one of my RIS with me, but I'm not going to get caught with an open beer in my office.

Cool. I'll look into it. I am just starting to play with water chemistry but have been taking Bru'n Water's word for what my pH level will be with my specific grain bill.

I have two "jobs" (one is my own business). When I'm at my place, it is non-stop stress. When I'm at my other office, Tuesday is pretty action packed. Thursday is my day to get caught up and take care of the special projects, etc. Not much that I do on Thursday is urgent, so I can be productive without being stressed. And I have time to run a special package to Kansas through the shipping and receiving department today.

I still argue about the stout season thing ;)

And coffee before my last hour of work

Coffee!!!......beer walk last night early work early morning soon....sigh.... as the great philosopher Lt. Murtaugh once said.."Im getting too old for this sh!t."

And it accurately reads PH? I thought good PH meters were always around or above $100?
