Hahaha, this isn't your first beer of the night, huh?

I'm working on my second Resin. Lovin it.

Sadly, I was too late for the Ghandi Bot release at my regular beer store but I did get my hands on 4 of these. Yum!

You should come down to Groton when it's released here. We got 3 cases in last Friday and the last one was bought this past Monday. Lasts forever here because no one in Groton really cares that much about craft beer.

Well, I was planning on doing a side by side tasting of fresh and 1 year old Ten Fidy for international stout day, but I'm sick. Didn't wanna waste good beer. Having my first hot toddy instead... not too bad.

Check out cigarsintl.com, I have the Diablo humidor and another, but the Diablo is a sweet deal if you can get enough sticks to fill it at least half-way.

Time does NOT heal all wounds. This strawberry wheat sucked three years ago when I brewed it and still does. Think it was infected...

This assortment of Shiner was a huge disappointment.

This is at least drinkable

Going back to the Resin...

I don't deal with the style (CDA) much, so I don't know what this is supposed to taste like, but I really like this. Mild roast character with a bit of caramel malt sweetness. Not as hoppy as I might have expected just based on reading the style guidelines, but very good nonetheless. Gonna enjoy drinking this six pack.

Ya I been looking at their site I just was doing more research before I pull the trigger on buying a humidor.

Highlighted your problem there. Stay away from the samplers! :fro:

Courtesy gift from a friend for game night last weekend. It's because I made the mistake of agreeing that I liked Shiner Bock when I was in Texas. That beer was good, but the sampler sixer was B-A-D

#stoutday number two...

*edit* ... Sorry, his is Troegs Java Head

How is that? I saw it and came close to grabbing it last time i hit the bottle shop

It's crazy how much your tastes can change. I remember having this for the first time probably 10 years ago, and I thought it tasted like concentrated Pine-Sol. This beer was way ahead of its time for 1981, but we've come a long way with IPAs since then.
