DAMN! If you made that I am very impressed and jealous

Drinking a fixed gear american red ale from lakefront. First beer I am not so fond of by them. Pretty bland, too bitter and too dry IMO

Of course I made it, I'm not going to make my 'bout to pop wife stand over a hot stove.

For the record I made the beer too.

A couple more episodes from season 2 of American Horror Story with some breakfast beers. I hate cleaning and somehow by cleaning made a bigger mess. Go figure.

Some midnight maple wheat. With filet mignon, hassleback potato, asparagus, and a portobello mushroom sauce.

Oh hells ya.

I'd eat 3 of those plates. Silly Euros. :fro: Post-workout snack!

I didnt think that would be the case. That just looked too good to be homemade but more props to you sir! :D

Well thank you. I try my best to pretend I know what I'm doing in the kitchen.

Having a Belgian pale now

I'd eat 3 of those plates. Silly Euros. :fro: Post-workout snack!

The plates are a little crunchy.

You should get their regulars, Jai Alai, Maduro, Hotter Than Helles and maybe Florida Cracker (maybe not, the name might sink sales). All of those are really good. You might also get Tocobaga and some of their seasonal regulars (12oz), Cubano Espresso, Humidor Jai Alai, White Oak Jai Alai, and a few others. It wouldn't suprise me if you found some 750's up their soon, the owner is good friends with someone up there, a distributor or big bar owner that helped them out when they started up, that's why they've been up there for so long.

Awesome thanks for the info man. Ill definitely be keeping an eye out for em. Just got home from gym. After a killer workout and a couple brews i hope ill be able to pass out at a normal hour tonight. Homeland on demand and some jai alai sounds like a great way to spend the rest of the night. :mug:

Cheers!

Holy $hit! Damn man thats gnarly! You mightve been better off breaking it than with a sprain that bad! I hope it looks worse than it is and you have a quick recovery. Keep your beer on it between sips.

Yikes! Hope that isn't as bad as it looks. Good luck.

I saw this on shelves today. Whats the verdict? Should i pick one up?

I liked it - definitely worth one try. I'd recommend doing a side-by-side with Golden Monkey so you can see the effects of the barrels.

Having water ... bad headache set in this afternoon and just doesn't want to go away. :(

Damn dude that looks like it's gonna hurt for a while! Put a sock on it and tough it out:) naw just playin HB, ice and elevation hope it heals quick the dog needs ya!!!

This really isn't half bad. There is a light toastiness from the granola and the hop character, while subdued, is very pleasant with your typical piney/dank American hop character to it. Finishes semi-sweet but dry enough to accentuate the bitterness.

Question for group. Are Goose Island's Lolita, Juliet and Gillian worth the steep price tag? We just got some in the store today, but they are $19, $25 and $30 respectively. I'd like to try them, but it's hard to justify in the name of simply trying new beer. I'd like to have a relatively good assurance that they are good first.
