I snagged a couple 2011 DeStruise Pannepots today for $1.99 each due to a pricing error. Regular price is $6-$7 each. Didn't realize it until I got home and looked at the receipt. Score!

Single Hop Mosaic. This time I'm getting the citrus. But there's difibiteky quite a bit of pine there too. Either that or I'm already too fooked up to tell the difference.

Well, you made up a word (difibiteky) so you may just be fooked up. ;)

Dang, they have anymore? Color me jealous. I really, really like that beer. I like it better than any of the Trappist stuff.

There was about a case of loose bottles on the shelf and they probably have several cases in storage. They always have it, but sometimes they skip ordering it for a year or two while they get rid of the older stock.

I can't decide if going back to pick up some more will destroy my karma or not.

Karma nothing, go clear the shelf at least. Although I guess that depends on the shop. I know the guys who own the bottle shop I go to, one or the other is almost always there. I'd tell them about something like this, but they'd also never make the mistake in the first place. If it's a total wine or similar, I'd clear them out and then ask for more. :D

Yep. It's a big box booze store.

I wouldn't consider loading the cart, if it was a small Mom and Pop owned store (unless the owners were pricks). I'd tell Mom and Pop about it otherwise.

Breaking my new glass in with a Surly Hell courtesy of my a very generous BeerForum trader. Ahh, it's been a long time since I had a Surly anything. Looking forward to drinking the rest of them; Furious, Bender and Coffee Bender.

Hard to detect the coconut with all the hops and all. Did have a sweet toasty/roasty(malt like) like mild vannilla. Mildly oak like I guess. Very good ipa,my kinda ipa. I love that this was brewed by a homebrewer and made by them. Just think of all the great homebrews out there that cant make it on a large/commerical scale, and into your mouth.... such as this.

John Daly now while cleaning up bottling session. I'm eying the Jolly Pumpkin Madrugada Obscura in my fridge. I need to dump the dregs in my sour project anyway right!?!?
