You really think Hoptimum is their best beer? What about Narwhal and the Velgian

No; what I meant was the Magic Hat glass was the best thing to come out of the Magic Hat brewery, because I don't like any of their beers. I knew someone would misinterpret so I edited my post, but I guess I didn't edit it enough!!!

Nah ... it was clear (to me at least.) Maybe it's because I share you view so I immediately picked that up.

Drinking some water now waiting for my strike water to come to temp. As I got ready for brewing I discovered my brewpot was a freakin' mess. Another reminder not to drink and brew! :drunk:

I'm happy that I can actually brew on the patio for a change - no rain, no heavy winds (just warm out) but it is far more comfortable than cooping up in the garage.

More water as the mash is almost finished. I'm also sitting here wondering where my Sunday morning East Tennessee mullet report is?! ;)

He's probably still sleeping it off. Sounds like he had a little too much fun yesterday. Hey whatcha brewing?
Back on topic: I'm having a Dr Pepper, and waiting to get called into work, so I can go home sometime today.

A saison (my first) ... and when it is done I'm going to take half of it and age it on pomegranate.

Drinking some coffee, cleaning up my brew kitchen. It also doubles as my bbq kitchen, it's basically the anything messy swmbo doesn't want in the house kitchen. Gotta bottle a saison today, can't find my corks and cages so I might have to just cap them.

When I design the basement brew space in my new place, I need a floor drain.

I really should have got a picture - saw an Elvis-do mullet hybrid with a combover! Pretty slow for mullets otherwise.

Nice! I'm doing a starter from a bottle of Prairie Saison tomorrow. Not sure which strain it is, but the beer was awesome. I hope mine turns out well.

Starting early, as usual. Such a balanced beer. Love it.

I have to say honestly that "fresh squeezed IPA" sounds & looks yummy. My mouth's watering just looking at it. Dang you anyway...now look what you've done. I wonder if Trader Joe's over in Westlake has it??? I have to go out for building supplies for my brewery expansion on 8/1...I'll have to go in search of then. (hey, some of my close friends used to call me Spock,so...)
Makes me all the more ancious for remmy's "package" that's scheduled to get here Monday!...:mug:

Water while the coffee brews. Got some skeeter pee that needs bottling today and tangelo wine (same recipe as skeeter pee with tangelo juice instead of lemon and extra sugar to up the abv) that needs to go to secondary to clear. Certainly I will be sampling along the way in the name of quality assurance.

Oh man...I didn't pay attention to who posted that. I guess it shows how much I need one? I put some of my beers in the fridge about two days ago for next weekend. but now,well...end of the month retiree syndrome...

I was pretty buzzed when I wrote it so it's understandable! :mug:

I haven't had any Magic Hat because I haven't heard nothing good about them. I had one to many whiskeys last night. So water for me until damned work starts.

let me know when you're line is filled again and we'll set something up! :mug:

hells yeah! bottling my Mosaic IPA today. got some Helles cold conditioning right now. gonna fill bottles from kegs. I haven't sampled my Rose Hip Siason for 2 weeks, but I'll make sure you get some of those. I also got some 18%+ Port Wine & 12% Pyment I did with a can of Merlot base.

After finally brewing a couple of wheat beers,I can see their attraction in hot weather. It sits easilly on the gullet with no queeziness from heavier malt & hop usuage. Lighter pleasant flavors that are quite refreshing after a hot day's work or being in traffic all day. Good thing I've got two batches in bottles. Maori IPA down to last case. Gotta get busy on brewery expansions so I can brew more...

Drinking Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar, excellent nut brown, been drinking too many lighter beers lately.

I love that damn beer. Cheers.

We used to love Leinenkugel's Fireside Nut Brown with my wife's pecan pie. Wowohmadamn kinda good. They dropped it in favor of more shandies. WTF??
Now I gues I'll have to find a good PM kit to get a handle on what's needed to brew some.

Billy-klubb I'll go pick huckleberries later like September. Blackberries also. Right now there is a lot of flathead cherries available here though.
