If I had to pick a favorite I'd probably choose the Alt (surprised myself with that one). Looking forward to trying more stuff from Hops and Grain now.

about to crack into my first SN Summerfest of the year - It's going to be in the high 80's, low 90's here today in CT so it seemed right!

I got those this last weekend for the first time and enjoyed them greatly. It is a very crisp lager and perfect for the hot temps or summer

I found a '12' Goose Island Madame Rose at a bottle shop. They had it in their cellar and I paid 20$ for it. Was that a reasonable price? Is it a sought after bottle at all?

Nice. I always get started with a Torpedo. I plan to smash one when I get home and follow it up with a 1-liter homebrew (IPA).

just drank gravity samples of my golding abbey.. 9% abv and my golding kolsh 6.5% abv

both started with the same exact wort out of the boil kettle, one got watered down slightly and the other had candi sugar added

both amazing so far

That actually looks like a pound sign instead of the euro. Founders made the leap over the pond eh..

So fooking awesome just found this :)
The past couple of months have proven to be quite the source of joy and ambition for Founders Brewing Company out of Grand Rapids, MI. Apart from their own brewery expansion in Grand Rapids, they have also brought their beer down to Texas. Now Founders is taking their prized beer overseas to the United Kingdom by the beginning of May.

And it won't be your last will it ;) €3.30?
Are you over seas?

Yup... £3.30, that's about $5 or so I think.

Right you are, I nipped to a specialist beer merchants after work (just got paid you see...) and spent a load on these bad boys:

£45, so about $76 according to Google. American beer is expensive here :/

Now drinking founders all day IPA.

Preferred the Centennial, my body will thank me for the lower ABV tomorrow though...

Nuke, you sir have something special here. This beer smells amazing and tastes amazing. My assumption by the label is Imperial Red. If so, you win on the best red I've ever had by a long shot. Commercial or otherwise.

That is so cool :) founders is a great Brewery

I edited my post with some more detail, thanks for all the replies!

And spare a thought for us poor brits paying upwards of $5 for 12oz bottles... Even the British stuff isn't particularly cheap, not the decent craft stuff anyway.

Cisco brewers - island reserve double ipa it's amazing reminds me of motel and hopsickle or maybe Great Lakes alchemy hour

They are already in some parts of Fla. My buddy already is getting Dirty Bastard on tap for his restaurant.
As for me having a HB Huma Tropic Pineapple IIPA nearing end of boil on Red Tulip

They were "rolling" it out this month. Every week I ask my bottle shop and they say another week. There is a bar in down town Orlando that has been serving Founders for a couple of months somehow. I guess I will keep patiently waiting, it has been a slow roll to my local liquor.
