It's the Columbus then. I know my noble/land race & my aroma hops, the 100 or so years of hops in between I'm a little fuzzy on.

Dude right on the Tocobaga arrived huh! You must drink the Red Dread when it arrives and let me know what you think of it (think it will be there on Monday) It isn't really a comparison though as it is an imperial and 9% ABV

I'm drinking water now workout kicked my butt ... will be on to beer soon to ruin the workout though

Oktoberfest on bottom and dry stout on top. Probably my best lager ever, and my best stout too, so combined they make a tasty beverage.

Head down to Karbach this weekend if you want the glass they just came out today. I couldn't stay for the tasting/tour today but I wanted to make sure I got one of the new glasses. I'll be bottling my current two batches next week sometime so we can trade then. Or if you simply must have the taste of soy sauce slathered cardboard dog bed sooner, we can meet for the Triple Bock on Monday or I'll be going to Buffalo Bayou Brewery tomorrow so if you'll be in Houston I could bring it with me.

So Far, So Good...So What! That's the best description for this beer. Have I become so spoiled on powerfully-flavored ales that I cannot enjoy the pure simplicity of a Gose?

For the record, Rust In Peace is the superior Megadeth album.
