They actually closed registration. It was a big mess, i luckly got two in there. I was the last to sign up before they close it.

Wow ... Great for you! I knew I was screwed since I had to travel today. I can't even imagine how impossible it would have been trying to do that on an iPhone with all their issues. Oh we'll, always local comps and next year :)

they might reopen it but idk. I got my mild and IPA in there. Wish i could of gotten some meads but I'll get more next year. Seems like everytime i want to enter for the first time this happened. Like GABF fiasco, guess I bring all the homebrewers to the yard

Drinking some Jameson out of an Alfredo sauce jar... keepin it classy.

Um...yeah. Who wants to drink out of traditional glassware anyways. ;)
And what's the white stuff on the bottom of the jar? Is there still Alfredo sauce in there or is it frosted from the freezer?

My first AG batch! an IIPA :D .

Finally had the patience to wait until it conditioned properly so its the best first beer of the batch I've had, better than any of the extract or PM I've done, even after they have aged a couple months.

My not quite good enough for 16E saison. Batch that's dry hopping now will be my entry.

Lucky, smart, stupid and now a little buzzed after that and two of my clone.

How's it compare?

Really nice stout, surprisingly roast-y with a mocha like malt flavor. I say surprisingly, because it's fairly light in color for an American stout, but the big roasted malt flavors are there without the bite of de-bittered black malt. Solid hops bitterness stands up to the malt, maybe a touch of citrusy hop flavor, finish is dry, little bit of bitterness on the back, lingering chocolatey flavors. Awesome beer, thank you janitorjerm for sending 4, $hit's not gonna last now that I got it in the fridge.
