How prominent is the bacon flavor? Is it dominant, or just hiding in the background?

Brewitt said:My new Russian Imperial Stout. 10% ABV, 90 IBU. Only in the bottle for 9 days. Tastes fabulous but absolutely uncarbonated! I know I added sugar for 2.0 volumes CO2 and it tastes a little sweet but despite 9 days at about 70F, no bubbles or head. It was quite clear when I bottled so the yeast may be very low. I notice no yeast on the bottom of the bottle. I presume the yeast is still alive because it is an alcohol tolerant strain and it had only been three weeks since pitching. Consequently, I inverted all the bottles two times and I will wait another week. I promised myself I wouldn't taste it before two weeks and here I am after 9 days, worried. Patience young grasshopper, patience.
It takes some time! I did a double chocolate imperial stout ABV 13.5% and waited about a month before I cracked one. It was three times better after about 2 1/2 months![]()
