Bit of a let down from the high octane before... Stone Stout

J. Geils Band has long been one of my favorites. Big during my high school and college days. Bloodshot is a spectacular album, btw. Still listen to them a lot, never gets old. Cool that you got to run into Geils.

I saw the same tour when they opened for the Rolling Stones at the old Kingdome in Seattle. Mick Jagger was in a high reach bucket they swirled around above the crowd!Saw them at Candlestick Park in San Fransisco, they opened for the Rolling Stones. Had to be 1981 or possibly early 1982. I was stationed in Vallejo for school. Their lead guy was doing a thing dancing with a long ribbon on a stick and twirling it all around at the time. They were good, but yeah, I was there to see the Stones.
