Eibauer Das Bock, since 1810, Privatbrauerei Eibau i.Sa. GmbH, Eibau Germany, 6.7% ABV. Says it is real Saxon beer. OK, Saxon beer, what the heck.

Beer pours a slightly cloudy light orange color. Not much head, zero lacing. Beer has a medium high carbonation, taste is difficult to describe, somewhat zingy, slight spiciness on top of a diminishing jogging shoe footiness that dissipates each chug. Weird beer. Label says one of the TOP-12® breweries in Germany. A registered trademark that says TOP-12® ??? Joke. I can think of 12 better brews on 5 fingers. Pass….

See post above about flights at Oyster City. My favorite of the heavy beers flight is the Belgian spiced Christmas ale. Malt, spice, banana, 11.8%. Delicious!
Sour flight: soursop kettle sour. Never tasted this fruit. Strawberry, citrus, 5%. Tasty and refreshing!
