After making a bunch of cookies with our girls today (that’s just a few ) I’m enjoying this straight barrel aged stout from @orionol73 via FotD. Damn this is smooth and tasty. Glad to be relaxing now.

HB Nelson DIPA

A @Beerwildered homebrew. The note says 8% imperial stout, but I’m not sure it’s labeled correctly. Kind of a strong amber.... still tastes good though.

HB NEIPA with Galaxy, Citra, Bru-1 & Mosaic (if my mind is correct). Bitter hop with home grown Chinook, fermented with Imperial’s POG yeast peaking at 114 degrees Fahrenheit. Still drinking pretty darn good!!

Attempted SN Celebration clone. Hops are fine. Clarity blows and color is off. It's a fine beer but off target. I used Bell's yeast.

HB porter, have made a (small) bunch of beers, but this is the first one I can honestly say is a good beer. Had to pour quickly because it started foaming over a little, first I thought gusher infection but then I can't taste any yeasty/fermentedish off flavors, it's only 2.5 weeks old so probably just has to mature and evenly pressurize a bit more.

I added just a tiny sprinkle of baking soda to my glass before the pour and it did help a little with the acidic taste I was getting without adding any extra saltiness.

Another @Beerwildered FotHB beer. This one is the imperial stout. The one I had last night was a bock beer. The note for the tape color on the bottle caps was flip flopped.

Very grassy when cold but mellows out when it warms some.
