Painting my youngest daughter’s bedroom. She asked for her 8th birthday we redo her room to her liking. She picked out the “Sky Blue” paint and is going with a hiking/mountain theme. Inspired by our trip to the Adirondacks this summer.

Getting excited because today is Brew Day!!! Woot!

Started with another offering from Collective Arts Brewing, an Earl Grey Wheat. This I would not buy again...it almost tasted 'dirty', like the bottom of a teacup, if that makes sense. Brewed with black tea, bergamot and coriander, none of which I could pick up. Oh well.

Now onto a local, from Zero Issue Brewing, based here. It's a really nice IPA, classic Mosaic juiciness. The graphics are also from a local artist, and it's a creepy-looking 'black figure' blowing up a still. Pretty cool art, and a crushable beer at 6.8%. Nice!

Just starting my steep....Another local beer, wow, I lucked out today.

Dead Moon Night Imperial Stout, at a hefty 10%! Super nice finish and not boozy at all. Nice and smoky and a touch of coffee. These could be trouble! Lots of gunk washed out of the can, so maybe a secondary ferment??

My wife brought a couple of homebrews home yesterday. The husband of the girl that cuts her (and my) hair is a home brewer. The first one is a very nice ipa. I’m going to ask her for their recipe. The second one is a red ipa. Good, but I prefer the first one.
