Thanks. Looks can be deceiving however. This version used cold steeped roasted added late in the boil. There is an ashy taste in this one that takes away from the rest of it. It’s drinkable, but needs to be refined. I squeezed the grains after the steep thinking that I needed the extra dark liquid, but I think that was a mistake. Next batch will be using a different brand of roasted barley and I won’t squeeze them.Looks like it's perfect! Nailed that one.

I live in Canada, we don't have a Total Wine, but thanks for the suggestion! most of our booze that isn't locally made is sourced through our government run liquor stores. If they don't carry it (which they don’t) then you likely won't find it. At least I can get the draft!Total Wine carries a lot of DT beers. This assumes there is one somewhere near you.
