I work in Albany and have never, ever tried Nine Pin.
How is it?

It is a little pricy, but it is good cider. I had their signature cider and I liked the Earl Gray enough to take home a 2L growler and a Belgian bomber. I'm told the tasting room gets pretty busy on the weekend. They released a blueberry peach cobbler today which I didn't like it just didn't work for me and the hopped hibiscus wasn't very hoppy, though it was very drinkable, hubby thought it was grapefruity, but I didn't really notice that flavor. I haven't yet made cider at home that comes close to this goodness.

Waldos' Special, a crazy-dank from Lagunitas. It's great, but I couldn't drink more than one in a sitting.

I apologize if the edge of the wood pile in this pic offends anyone's delicate sensibilities. Feel free to mock me for eternity so that you can feel better about yourself, not that I see how it will help.

Anyways, the beer is tasty and I am more excited about the wings going on the grill after I mash in than I am about mashing in.

Methinks you need a pistol resting on said wood pile ... :D ... :beard:

Thank you all for sharing, I really enjoy the images. Beer porn is the best. View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1460848863.884073.jpg
This is just a simple American wheat and rye I brewed, which is heavier on the rye. I've learned that rye isn't my favorite, but I'm not gonna dump it. I think it helps me learn flavors for BJCP judging. It will be"burnt" into my mind and taste buds.
