What are you drinking now?

Hey, @bucknuts. Start drinking now so we can curse each other out during the game tonight. I'm already 3 deep. Get your **** together. Let's argue.

GO DUCKS

Water. Drank marginally too much over the weekend and feel pretty drained tonight. I bought 20 cans of various bitters and IPA's Saturday morning (all Pints) and there is only 6 left tonight.

Oh god, Rex Ryan get out while you still can!

Water. Pretending it is a pale ale.

Haha I would have to say its an upgrade from the Jets though. Poor bastard has talent but keeps landing on schitty teams. Their defense will be a force to reckon with, but they also need a good QB, RB and o-line to be competitive.

Breakfast stout,

Heard. I think he's a good fit. At least there will be someone with some damn fire on the sideline. Previous coaches looked like zombies.

Done drinking water and coffee. Need beer.

Water.

My stew is bland. I didn't sear the meat enough...now I'm wondering what to do to fix it. Oh and now I read that crock pots and stew don't actually go well together? WTH?

haha Monday drama.

Just murder that ****** with some fresh herbs and spices on low for another hour or two.

Debating whether or not I should suffer through some college football tonight or just stay home. Hrm. I do have a few Sneak Attack Saison waiting for me though.

In the Phillipines, they have a dish called Adobo that they remove the meat from the sauce (mainly fat, soy sauce and lots of garlic) and they start frying the meat and add back a ladle of sauce at a time to concentrate it while the meat browns more. Then they eat it with rice...good stuff. I would kind of take that appoach. I would strain everything and then toss it in a fry pan to caramelize it more. If you have too much "soup" and it isn't too salty, boil it to reduce it some more. Add some more seasonings. Did you use any wine or beer in it? Throw it all back together. Boom!

About to grab a soda and get back to straightening up the living room. Ugh.

Since you can't have a beer right now, I'll have one for you.

I say don't bother suffering like @bucknuts will after my Ducks wipe their duck booties with buckeye toiletpaper.

Make it a double ipa then please. If I did watch, I guess I'm an Oregon fan because we have a saying around here and it rhymes with Duck Ohio.

Thats cool to say since @bucknuts isn't here right?

I just tried it, the meat is what is bland, definitely not the soup. I did well on the soup I think.

This is what I'll do. I didn't add beer, oddly. I can add something though. I like the meat idea. I'll go down at 4:30 and fry the meat up more. I think a simple high heat sear with spices should be okay, no?

More water. I did @Remmy a beverage at lunch.

Listen, salt works wonders. Too much or too little and you ****-up your food. The right amount makes your food awesome, especially when it comes to when you're using that WSM.

I've been checking my mailbox everyday still no Funkmeister. So sad

Do you accept payment in the form of a UConn Husky? I'll hit you up. We're all brothers. :ban: I'm just floccing with you about tonight's game. Don't care who wins, really. Except for my Ducks. :p

Searing the meat with more spice and adding back in, should be good, I think. The Adobo seasoning is actually a Latino thing and the doesn't have anything to do with the Filipino dish--oddly enough--but it's good s**t, too.

Water with lunch. It's going to be hard to not crush beer later... Got a raise and an interview for a new company next week. They start everyone out as a consultant, then go to FTE so I'm not too sure about that.

I also heard their may be a football game on later?

You forgot the mushrooms:p

Sound advise.

No too sure searing again is going to do it, you'll need to dry it to get a sear anyway, did you season the meat prior to searing?
