I'm shocked too, not surprised though. This state loves to charge too much for everything. The only big brewery that kept prices lower locally was sierra nevada... and I haven't lived in chico since '99... so who knows anymore.

Blind pig does no longer distributed in SoCal. Pliny is getting harder to get. I spend a good amount of my check at some bottle shops that get Pliny. I have to ask for it or won't get any. They don't even put it on the shelf. Next bottle is yours though. Just send me a label or homebrew.

There were a couple places around here in Walnut Creek that had grapefruit Sculpin. Try ØL in Walnut Creek. Thats where I found it. Not sure if they still have any. Its pretty good, but I would rather have a fresh regular Sculpin.

I moved on to Highland Park 12 year Scotch, with dessert that the wife made. Damn good combo.
