Just picked myself up a 4-pack of the Sierra Nevada Narwhal from their High Altitude series, very good stuff. I'd compare it to Oskar Blues' Ten Fidy with a little bit of cinnamon and hint of cherry. Also somewhat reminiscent of New Holland's Night Tripper.

RyePA from a cleanly delabled bottle,

Can't stand Obama. But I agree with him tonight. We've got to stop these ********.

Water before bed.

Nice! My almost 7 yr old son and now 5 yr old daughter always enjoy delabeling and bottling. Glad to have the help, but mostly keg due to not getting the pipeline full enough, ie: I like to drink my beers.

Another hb zombie.

That's cool man. The only kid showing interest in the actual steps is my 6yr granddaughter. Keep them doing something.

Oh, and drinking water so i dont end up with a WTF beer again. 😜

I bought this a month ago, the day I started looking for a new job. So, I opened it today.

Maybe my tastes have changed, but I had this before and was a lot more impressed with it. It's still good, but I'm not blown away. Getting better as it warms.

Here's the Remmy-style shot, albeit without the cat flag:

Drink the victory now or wait? Got one sitting in my basement.

I was torn on aging for the Brett, but drink fresh for the hops. I think I got the worst of both worlds, not much hop aroma left, and it's funky, but not crazy funky.

It's a solid beer and will have no problem finishing the bottle, but I think I'd let it sit for awhile.

What you got workin there in the background?

DC's
Texas twang mead.

Sounds like I'll age this bottle for a bit to see what the brett does and if I grab another bottle I'll check sooner. Thanks for the input.

Maybe another beer before bed.
