What do you think?
Another Coff before I hit the weights.
Today is looking like a no-beer Thursday.
Hey man. Thanks to your direct comments about my "borish palate" and the new fascination with liquid yeast, such as English, see what you mean by flavor complexity. Brewing my first Roggenbier tomorrow. For what its worth, you've helped expand one home brewers horizons.

Thanks for the heads-up! Flanders & BugCounty on the way.
Was going to order but for the shipping. No thank you..
Holy ****! $15 to ship one vial of yeast!?! That's crazy.

Most I ever paid for yeast was $9 for a white labs Brett-b. Just paid $25 for a bug county. Hope it makes me a good beer...
Edit: is there a way to get more than one use out of a bug county? I'd imagine a starter would mess up the proportions of the mix, right?

Drinking my last cup of work coffee. Out of here at noon then its off to the homebrew supply shop for grains and a new hydrometer....maybe 2 hydrometers.

It is pricey which is why I try to order a couple of vials and then some other items to get it to free shipping.
I would think a starter would mess up the proportions. I'd also plan on a decoction mash to make sure all the bugs have something to eat.
If you click more shipping options you can pick usps 3 day. Mine was only $12 for three vials.

Never noticed that. Just checked and, sure enough, $6.40 for USPS 2 day. I'll keep that in mind next time ECY is up. $6 for USPS is much better than $19 for UPS.

You and me both, brother! Started out enjoying it, did it too long, now I hate it. But I have resolved to do something else this year, hopefully within my company, but if not that's fine, too. It is nice to lead a comfortable life with time for hobbies.
How much for the valve?

Yeah that ups option is absurd. I just ordered a 3piece ball valve yesterday and paid twelve for ups 2nd day air from AIH.
That's one reason I have a hard time ordering online unless shipping is cheap or free.
I got an awesome deal on a 3 piece SS ball valve. Paid 14.99 with shipping. Received it and noticed a tiny defect in it. Nothing major and wouldn't effect normal operation, but still contacted the seller about it. They sent a replacement for free, so now I have two valves for $15. Hard to beat that.

Did one of them break.?
Water. <rant> For the 2nd time today, an assclown on our team joins a conference call 15 minutes late and makes everyone stop and recap what he missed. Happens all the time and management seems to be afraid to tell him to either get there on time of shut the hell up. </rant>

What piece of glass didn't break in his vicinity?

I broke my 6th hydrometer in 4 years last brew day so I figured why not Buy two more that way when inevitably I break one I'll have a back up

Dang! Get a refractometer and that'll never happen again on brew day.
