I don't know why I keep punishing myself with this beer. I never like it but always buy it. :(

I'm going to go ahead and say it... I'm not a stone fan. There I said it. I respect that they were able to weather the great beer storm of the 90s. Especially with there flagship beer being anything but a session beer. IMO there's way better nationally available IPAs out there.

Im not a fan of stone either. They have a few winners but most is way to bitter to enjoy

Sublimely Self Righteous, Ruinten, Ruination, Enjoy By, even the flagship IPA all excellent imo. I also love their Imperial Russian Stout and Smoked Porter. Great brewery

I don't know why this always makes me nervous....

I'm a stone fan, but I visit SoCal often and had my share of flesh eatingly bitter/dry IPAs, so I definitely appreciate them.

If only they knew how good the Hibiscus Saison is, THEY would be jealous! (Of course I've never had a Pliny, so what do I know? But I HAVE had the Hibiscus Saison!)

Currently not enjoying any beverage at all, while I cook dinner and type this between timers going off.

I brought the hi nelson to my alumni function last weekend and had multiple people tell me it was the best beer they had ever tasted. My slightly modified version of course

What are you nervous about? That you posted pictures of s scale with a white substance by it and you live in Florida. I'm sure no one on here will say anything

I enjoy Stone for the most part, but usually my money goes farther elsewhere... Although the Xocoveza is by far my favorite thing I have had from them and am more than willing to pay the price for that one. Sooooo good.

Drinking PBR while winding down the last 30 minutes of work, it's the closest thing to water I have in the house and want to stay hydrated. Ha!

I have taken bottles to the LHBS guru and the brewer at a local brewery and all were very impressed. And these guys are honest when critiquing home brews, so I was psyched! Looks like I have 2-1/2 hours until I have to go anywhere, so I'm going to have one Citra Saison. (That I made with harvested Belle Saison from my batch of Hi Nelson.)

The recipe inspired me to create my own saison with mayhaw syrup dry hopped with nelson and cascade. It was also a favorite. Bitering hop was Columbus

Congratulations man! Haven't gotten the nerve yet. There are things I know I need to do before hand.

Found a stash of cans I tucked away in the brewery - luckily they weren't IPAS! Since we are in season for sure, I'll have this - thanks BrewinHooligan. Great beer!

Now for some more touch-up painting... A couple minor things for the contractor to finish plus the shower glass and it will be done. Can't wait to have my bathroom back!

(Sharing a bathroom with a ten year old boy is not something I want to ever do again!)

HB Citra Belle Saison...if you like Citra hops, this is awesome. If you don't, then it sucks; but technically, it's awesome.

Swine fruit fly dove into my last bit after I took this photo and drank some more. Fruit flies have been KILLIN' me since late August and the crab apples I used in jelly and ciders were sitting around. I put out little traps: bowls with molasses, apple cider vinegar and a drop of Dawn detergent. They catch a bunch of them, but I can't seem to break the reproduction cycle. I use a flying insect spray, but have to do it when SWMBO is out...very sensitive to sprayed things. But pour a beer or start prepping some food and they are all in your face. Pisses me off!
