Had gravity samples of my Brown and Berliner Weisse. The first will make a great base American Brown for the future, double checked my spruce essence concentration against the sample, and I'm good to go. Berliner Weisse sour mash was a resounding success. Plenty of sourness, and none of that nasty stuff. Just clean lactic sour. It's a week in primary (after a 4 day sour mash), and at 1.012, so I hope it'll drop further. Boiled after the sour mash, so there shouldn't be anything in there other than the Sacch strain.

Another HB white ipa after finally getting off the phone with swmbo's drunk SIL. I took one for the team as it was her phone. She was sleeping, woke up and handed it to me to answer, then fell back asleep. That was not fun.
