I'm not completely sold on sour stouts yet. I liked Tart of Darkness, and Madrugara Obscura(sp?) Was alright. But I think I need more convincing before I brew a whole batch

I poured a stout that had gone sorta vinegary. I was saddened at first but really started liking it. That is what small batches are for in Carlo Rossi jugs. Make one up and let her sit. Worst case scenario, it tastes like the wine that came in the jug originally.

Stout is not a season, it's a year-long thing. Man up!

Root beer. Plumber is coming in 20! I'm so god damned excited I could burst!

No, feeling you may burst means you have been drinking a touch much Root Beer. It is only making you think its due to the plumber coming.

Haha, I dare you to sit outside and drink a yeti in full sun when it's 118F. ;) most of us (well most of us should) eat seasonally, so why not drink seasonally?

Im going to look at a 5 gallon tank and regulator i found on craigslist- $50 for the tank and $40 for the Reg- good deal? i feel that is alot to ask for a used regulator since new they are around that price. Is the tank alum or steel? It will be dated. Is it current if not the you need to pay to have it certified. 50 isent a great deal and you're better off getting a larger tank where I fill mine the difference between a five and ten pound is only five dollars or so.
Coffee.

Onto this.. ImageUploadedByHome Brew1398197052.084458.jpg the pear actually comes through and gives it almost a sourness. The barrel flavor is subtle as well. Pretty tasty!

2nd beer...I lied. No hot water. I'm officially losing my **** beyond belief. That is code for saying I'm going to cry if the guy won't come back today which right now they're saying they cannot.

That's ****ty. Damn. My well pump wiring shorted last summer and I was without water for a day. That blew ass. More than that and I would've lost my mind.

Searching for another beer before the kids get home. I'm on daddy-duty tonight. Can't get too smacked.

Holy ****! The first of Dave37 and Remmy's collaboration beer. This tastes GREAT. And smells GREAT.

This is what I call Meth vs. Chef.
2/3 Remmy's Nut Brown Ale and 1/3 Dave37's Robust Porter.

Okay, pilot simply went out again. There's no reason as the thermal coupling being bad would prevent it from being lit at all and the air filter thingy that no one ever cleans was cleaned. He left and I had hot water. 30 minutes later, nothing. I did manage to get the pilot light to light so I am going to wait this out and by morning I should still have a hot shower. They'll be back tomorrow since I was able to light the light and check to see what the heck happened.

Cold water is indeed better that NO water. Silver lining.

Another beer. No hot water. The ****ing pilot light went out again.
I cried, I kind of yelled but I'm not a yeller so it was a futile attempt, and now I drink because that is all I've got.
HB Blonde ale

If you light it and run the hot water will the main burner light and stay lit to heat the tank? Just an idea.
My APA.
