Lawson's is an old chain of dairy/convenience stores in these parts. Famouse for their chip dips & orange juice...Big O. Their TV commercial wood show the tanker of OJ barrelin down the highway to the tune "roll ooooon,bigO...get that juice up to Lawson's in 40 hours"...

Drinking some of my IIPA that turned out more like a barleywine. It's a little flat because the yeast crapped out a little early due to the abv and I didn't think to add yeast at bottling. Will need to re-brew and maybe scale the abv back just a touch so I can enjoy more than one at a time.

Woodford Reserve on the rocks! It's been a long day! I think it's getting better.

Oh ok. Well I was referring to Lawson's finest liquids.
I'm not onto this ranger creek- small batch number 5 - I get hints of Brett, smoke and bourbon. Balances nicely. Wiffle ball in an hour. Water until then

First pour off my first pilsner. Its awesome. While watching maximum overdrive. I havent seen this movie in forever.

coffee. looks like I'll be staying home with our oldest. fever, barking cough, wheezing.

I hope your son has rebounded and feeling better!

Anyd of you IT types have suggestions for best place to register domain names?

http://www.godaddy.com is pretty cheap for registration.

$1400 bill for 6 bottles of wine last night. Smacked.

Had a Bud Light and a Heineken just before that.

Water!!! just took my maserati to the bottle shop and I lost my license now I can't drive :-D :pipe:
You'll have to get a limo and ride in the trunk, and lock the door in case you get drunk.

Or ... He has a limo, rides in the back. He locks the doors in case he's attacked. ;)

HEY! Whose thumb is that in my picture?!

Oh, it's mine. You know why? 'Cuz it's my martha-floccin' birthday, beaches! I'm putting thumbs all over this place. :rockin::tank::drunk:

Happy (belated) birthday! Go Bucks! :)

I don't know what that means, but I did just chase some morons off my property with my 12 gauge. Not sure if they even saw the gun, maybe it was all the lights I turned on and me yelling 'Whatcha doin over there. Ya you, in the pullout'. Damn phone company relay box the former owner of our property leased a small piece of the property for. I got the phone company to put some posts in at the entrance last year. They were supposed to put up a gate. It was chained off for a while, but the chain dissappeared.

Damned meddling kids! ;)

Had a Newcastle Brown with dinner (meh) and cracked this beast open when I got home. A little hot (it's a 2013 and I should have aged it) but not showing the 16.9%! I think this will be a nightcap ;)

*edit* -forgot the pic...

Yeah, seems like the best bet, especially because they keep sending me coupons since I made it to the cart and didn't check out. I might wait a couple more days and see if it goes down anymore.
Note to self set up another trade with mark!
Trades with Mark are always good!

Critical Anxious from Tired Hands! Thanks a ton Mark. I've really been looking forward to this one.

And??

It's freakin good. I have a hard time believing he didn't use WLP072 in this instead of his saison strain. I'll have to make sure I don't tell my friend who has the blowout tastinsg about this. He's a big TH fan and an absolute freak for beers with flowers in them. No way a big growler of this was going to make it until I go down to Knox next weekend. In fact, between me and the mrs I really doubt it's going to make it through dinner. I better get some homebrew in the fridge so I don't kill multiple growlers tonight. Might have to take the ESD on our hike tomorrow, seems like the perfect beer for a picnic with a view.

Hanssens Oudbeitje. SUPER funky. Possibly the most funky smelling beer I've ever had. Hardly and strawberry in the nose but it definitely comes through in the taste. Great stuff

Glad you both are enjoying it! I was going to get you some Lizard Queen but figured you'd rather have some more ESD instead ;)

BTW - did those growlers leak much/at all?
