Gabe I need your help on brewing a good fruity sour beer seems your the man to go to.

Berliner Weisse is the way to go for quickish and easyish. I'm really going to put up a good post in the recipe section. I've said I'd do it a few times, but I will for real and I'll post a link when I do.

It's A Trapp!
My Belgian style pale ale with Sorachi Ace.

Trying to finish off my Richard Simmons DIPA...1/3 Mosaic, 1/3 Citra, and 1/3 Nelson. I wanted a fruit bomb DIPA, but the Mosaic is too much. That hop will not be in any of my future batches of anything.

I'm quite the other way. I want to use it in everything. including milk shakes & coffee.

It's not that I don't like tropical flavored hops...I love them, but there's something about Mosaic that I don't like. It has a strange blueberry or strawberry-like flavor that I can't describe and can't stand.

I got some pine with a lot of tropical fruit flavor. as I understand, it seems to change depending on your other ingredients and such. I'm gonna put some in my chew and rub some in my eyes. maybe hollow out my gas mask filter & replace the insides with Mosaic.

Finally got around to trying hopadillo in a mixed 6. I think someone got some bad citra or something cause I'm getting some onion and cat piss off this one. That's unfortunate, I know this one gets decent reviews. Looks like I got a bad can.

Goose island IPA. Just watched Harold and Kumar get the munchies, good for a bit of mindless entertainment...

Knackered though, gonna hit the hay soon (it's 1.15am here so that's not too bad an effort...)

that's a whole lot of hopping madness! what kind of efficiency are you getting?

Yeah, it's late-hopped out the ass. If I was to do it again I would dial back the Mosaic because it kinda drowns out the Citra and Nelson. I'm usually around 80% efficiency

I plugged it in for a 5 gallon batch & hit like 1.110. hahaha! raised volume to 7 gallon & hit 1.079. I've been hitting 85% since I got the Barley Crusher from NB. I'll have to brew this one soon!:mug: thanks for sharing!

edit: having a Surly Cynic Ale. also picked up Furious, Bender, Overrated!, and a 750 of Boulevard's Saison-Brett 2013.
