We’ll, she’s right you know. She wants to keep you around for a while…..probably just to pester me about my…..let’s just say, “unconventional brewing techniques.” LOL!!!
Unconventional is putting it mildly....on the other hand, I'm positive there are cats from this Galactic quadrant to the next who absolutely love your....special methods...😬

Toasting a good friend tonight.

8 years ago today, I found myself in a hospital bed. I was in pain but the reason I was hurting was a wonderful one. I had just donated bone marrow. Now, 8 years later I have had the pleasure of meeting my recipient and I only wish I could donate again.

Here's to my recipient and anyone else who has or is struggling from this terrible disease. F***k cancer!

Too boozy? 🤔 What's that mean anyway?? 😁 Wasn't too bitter with some nice roast flavor. Well done sir!

Hotel beer in Chicago. First time teaching a short course in person in two years. Teaching online didn’t cut it. Felt like I was talking to myself for two days.

Remind us - what do you teach?

This week is Fundamentals of Air Dispersion Modeling. It’s an overview of EPA air pollution models. I work for a consulting company, but we teach a lot of courses to people in our field for outreach/marketing. I only teach a few times a year. It’s a nice change of pace from normal work days.

Having another of these.

OJ with a Ginger Soother. I'll be having a few of these this week because of a positive Covid test...sigh. Oh well, symptoms were the worst this past Sunday, but feeling closer to normal every day. Thank goodness for being fully-vaccinated!

I think this is a good a time as any to bottle my last batch of HB before getting set up to start kegging. With 5-7 days of isolation, however, I might be drinking a lot of flat Belgian Saison! 😅🤒
