Trying to see if I can finish all of this before my uncle comes back with more. Left me with a month's worth of drunkenness, or two weeks of being hammered. Still haven't decided which way I'll go yet.

How did i forget Heady!! Its worlds better than Pliny. Must be from Conan. Gotta be. Its one of my favorite beers I have had (as far as hop monsters go).

And Wookey is just a damn great, actually amazing beer. I have 3 bombers of it in the fridge waiting for enjoyment. Kinda nice when its 2 for $10 at a local shop. Double Jack is awesome too. Too many good beers with too much time spent working haha. :rockin:

2 for 10 is an awesome deal for what I hear is a great beer. Really excited to get my hands on it. I think we might have a trade in our future... Malachi and I might have a trade coming soon, and Wes and I possibly have one too if I find what he desires. But you sir need Abrasive and I wookey/ double jack.

My Simcoe/Amarillo IPA. I might need some unbiased opinons, but I think this beer is amazing. The portion of munich malt used gives a great malty aroma/flavor and the hops really take center stage and pair so well together.

Send me some, looks pretty tasty!

... for sure hard for people to know what you actually mean through text even if you're saying exactly what you mean.

What the **** do you mean by that?! ;)

Still drinking on this Abrasive and wondering if I should brew one of my next batches with all Citra late additions.

You should, just to see what it's like. IMO it becomes a little overwhelming, like burying your face in a skunky mango vagina. Not that that's totally a bad thing. Just intense ;) btw I'm talking 12 ounces intense, not just 3 or 4

I love me some skunky mango vagina smells. Way better than stinky tuna and other fishy smells :).

Hey screw you man! I don't give a flying F*** about you and what you have to say and think you a** hole dick face! :)

I would be happy to if I didn't have so many medical bills coming! I love getting brutally honest feedback from people who really appreciate beer. I think we need to arrange a HBT get together somewhere like Vegas where everyone brings some brew and we all get hammered

Quite a description.
I went with obscene amounts of Simcoe, Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra in my last DIPA. It was like a cross between a grapefruit and a mango. I love a big, in your face hop presence in an IPA, especially tropical and citrusy.

That's like every night for me. Well, except for the Vegas thing. And the getting hammered part.
Actually, that's nothing like every night for me!
My life sucks!!
;)

Welcome to the club! That's why I brew and drink as much as I do...

That is a really great idea. I think with some proper planning it could happen. I also like that type of feedback. I hate my friends who I know don't share my passion as much as I do who just go, "oh that's good!" Me- "what do you like about it?" Them- "well it's just good, smooth and tasty." That type of stuff doesn't help me at all. If it tastes like crap, I need to know and if it does I need to know what parts of it tastes like crap. I think I a lot of people are afraid of hurting feelings. I think in the homebrewing world feelings are not existent. At least they shouldn't be, honest is always better. Where are you located? If its worth my while I would be happy to some how pay for shipping for you and review some of your brew for you.

Ive yet to have a bad one. Having a couple SN Ruthless Ryes, oddly it made me think of adding rye to my vanilla porter recipe...

Never had a ruthless rye... Rye in the vanilla porter recipe sounds interesting though! I'm on vacation in San Diego but can't wait to try the oatmeal stout I bottled before I left!

On my third Founders Imperial Stout. Hate how I can't tell there is 10.5% in here. Or do I love it...... ;)

Unfortunately they were infected, so we had your wife ship them to us for proper disposal. You owe us big.

I know what you mean.
My HopSMAC DIPA I have on tap right now is 10.2% ABV and its way too easy to drink.

I guess I do! But since she's here with me... Some random woman sent you 5 gallons of what she said was infected beer... I hope you tasted it first! I wouldn't trust her...

I'm just outside of Phoenix, AZ and I agree about feedback. Especially from my wife. If I made it, according to her it tastes like "ass". This come from someone who enjoys Michelob Ultra so I pay no mind. Every beer I have entered to comp has medalled though and all my buddies who brew claim to love what I make...

I wish I could have some. Abrasive is like that too. A lot of beers are actually haha. A honey of a saison from Boulder (it's their imperial saison) is 11% and I can't taste a single hint of booze in there. Gotta love em though. The sneakiness of a nice buzz is nice.

This would be awesome, but why not on a great beer city like Grand Rapids?!?!?
