This bottle is just over a year old and I got it at my local ABC. I generally like my scotches Smokey and funky like Springbank, but this hits the spot when something sweet is what my palate wants.

OT: Dssolvr Dortmunder. Probably the second best brewery in Asheville next to Burial.

*Never* buy one of their single cask bottles. I bought one three years ago and I'm still trying to work my way through that JP-7.

I love that distillery, but never buy single cask.

Had a few pours in remembrance of my friend who ironically drank himself to death...that's the second one in a recent years. Depression is a hole that alcohol cannot fill, remember that folks!

Carb check on my “best bitter”. It’s pretty good, but I prefer @Miraculix Best recipe. This was simply MO, Invert #2 and Fuggle hops fermented with A09 Pub.

And a check on my 1 week old Helles. Fermented in the serving keg under pressure at room temp. It’s carbed beautifully, but is hazy like a NEIPA. Obviously, it needs some more conditioning time but it is already crisp AF. This is fixing to be a winner. 34/70 is some amazing yeast!
