Well not drinking it yet...and don't know if I will. Neighbors gave me this as part of a Xmas mixed pack. I'm not even fond of most IPA's and this one has Spruce tip pineneedles in it ! In my book that's just alcoholic PINESOL !!! I don't know wether to thank them or call the police and poison control center for attempted homicide

Give it a try! Spruce is a classic beer flavoring. Haven't had one in a while, but I recall enjoying one out of Vermont very much. An imperial stout. Wish I recalled the brewery.

Edit: Found it! Didn't even remember it being a pumpkin ale.

I don't know Sean. It's from Bell's and I've never had anything that Larry made that wasn't good.

HB BA Stout. This is to my friend who lost his wife earlier today. She was an amazing woman with a heart of gold and nothing but positivity! Even though she beat cancer twice and this third time was brutal, she and her husband were always looking at the positives in life even during these hard last few days. She was one of my wife’s best friends and her oldest daughter and ours are best friends too. Heck our families are very close so this hits home for all of us.
Cancer sucks!!!!

I know. I love a lot of Bell's brews, one of the premium Breweries here in Michigan...but pineneedles.... I choke on beers with IBU over 35 ! ( except for Founders Dirty Bastard ). I'm positive drinking anything with bitter pineneedles is not gonna sit well with my palate !! I'll try to find the courage just to say I tried it.

✝ my heart felt condolences. I was a pediatric nurse for 10 years and 99% of our kids were oncology. A lot of kids never made it. Damn cancer and all its world encompassing misery.

Yeah. Cancer should get cancer and die. Condolences to your friend.

My wife is a cancer survivor. She just made 5 years cancer free, and has an appointment with her oncologist in about a month to dertermine how frequent her follow up visits will be from here on out. “Cancer free” means no sign of cancer. It doesn’t mean free from knowing it could come back.

Electric Boogaloo Hazy IPA from Bent Stick Brewing. Sigh, ok, another hazy...but this one is really something refreshing! Must be the Ella hops along with the Citra and Mosaic. More grapefruit than most dry hops and very crisp. Nice!
