Not sure if there is a recent or current thread on this going , last one I could find was a few years old and long dead . I'm thinking next Jan 1st I'll start a new one and only run it one calendar year to keep the run from being several years long and be easier to reference .

Thanks to the moderators ,this thread was under consideration and is now here.

Since Jan 1 2019 Ive brewed-
Bavarian Hef(NB,#1)
Oktoberfest/Marzen
GF beer
Green Elephant (Green Zebra watermelon Gose)
Kolsch- Mini-mash /extract
Bavarian Hef (NB,#2)see below

I'm brewing my wifes favorite again. Bavarian Hefeweizen (2nd time )via NB and AG(W/Tettnager, WB-06), step mash ,5 gallons.
The first one I made of this was my first step mashing experience instead of single decoction. She absolutely loved and is now down to 1 bottle.

So far this year I’ve brewed two batches each of Blonde Ale, Mosaic SMaSH, and Amber APA, and one batch each of an Abbey Weizen, Dunkelweizen, Amber Lager, Fizzy Yellow Lager, a Cream Ale and a Boston Lager clone. I think my next brew will be something Kölsch-ish.

I’ve been brewing a series of APA with the same grain and bittering hop charge but various flavor and aroma single hop additions. I’ve been able to dial in my process consistency and finding the additions certain hops bring to the table. Additionally, a Czech and German Pils, and Vienna Lager were sprinkled in.

But as Fall approaches I will break out of the APA stretch and begin brewing my riff on a variety of different beers: Scottish Export, Am Lager, Munich Dunkel, another Pale Ale based on SNPA, Altbier, Helles Bock, Vienna Lager. Early 2020 a Schwarzbier, Irish Red Ale, and Sweet Stout are planned.

I'm still trying to improve my lagers. Today I brewed eight gallons of BoPils, generally following the BCS recipe. I'm splitting it between 34/70 and Nottingham, both at 57 degrees.

cider last couple months, bone dry....but i miss brewing, and want to get back into it....

yeah, i know, one month without brewing a batch isn't much. but it's killing me! i need the vitamins!

(and i also know my math isn't good)

Helles, Kolsch, Marzens. If I have to use my spare fridge to ferment beer in this hot weather, may as well brew lagers.

Brut IPA and light lagers. Working on low carb diet but don’t want to give up brewing.

This may be heresy, but I've cut back to about one beer a day. (Most days)
I stopped gaining weight and lost some, I cut back on bagels too. I've been thinking of brewing something with less alcohol and calories, but still plenty of taste. I haven't really tried yet, but I think I made a 4% abv rye that worked.

Sounds tasty! Which hops are you using in that now?

As always I’m chasing the majestic unicorn by refining my NEIPA recipe to be absolutely perfect in every way( 5 times so far this year but it’s been on going) Also working on milkshake sours. And now preparing for a competition in October. Going to enter a sour, NEIPA, NZ Pilsner, and possibly a red ale

Not a lot of brewing this year. So far, only a Golden Promise/Citra SMaSH (x2) and Centennial Blonde. Getting ready to brew a no boil NEIPA next week. Will be my first attempt at a no boil.

So far, a schwarzbier, a mango blonde, a RIS, and a strawberry milkshake IPA. Next up is a spiced cherry dubbel (the same one from the 12 beers of Christmas), which will be tapped on Christmas Day. I'll probably try to get a SMaSH in soon so I have something on tap.
