Finshed up yesterday right as the rain started. Only had a couple raindrops infiltrate my brewpot.
I did get a lot of looks from the neighbors drinving by. I was sitting in front of my house with my burners and my brewpot.
A couple old ladies came by and complimented me on the smell, they wanted to know what I was cooking and I said "beer!". They said "smells good!" started walking off and then REALIZED what I said, they came back and checked everything out.
I'm pretty sure everyone in the neigborhood knows who I am now.
Brewed my mead and my saison. Wort temp in the primary was around 98F. I couldn't drop it any more. I ranout of ice and I was pressed for time and clear skies. I pitched the yeast (white labs for each). Its been 24 hours, no noticable fermentation, I know I'm just impatient.
