I'm not trying to hi-jack this thread, so sorry to the OP in advance. I've got one bottle of Strawberry Hill left from Boone's Farm, it is currently their flavor of the month so you know it is legit. Best offer by the end of the month gets it.

But seriously OP, you didn't need to make it a Public Auction. All you needed to do was post what you have available and also mention what you'd like to get in return. Then you could've done your own "Auction" based on the PM's you received.

It turns out I'm perfectly satisfied with St. Bernardus Abt 12 after tasting that and the Westy side-by-side.

I read somewhere that st bernadus abt 12 uses the original west yeast and have heard the same results after doing a side by side. Plus much easier to get. Trappist world is also having a westy sale!

I read a similar artical in Philly Beer Scene. I'll post a link when I get to work. If I remember right only the sugar treatments and fermentation temps differ.
