if anyone wants something from NC muled, hit me up.

Any fresh interesting hoppy stuff up there Dave? (besides Wicked Weed which I'll grab at the Dart Arts release). I know Lynnwood bottled Hubris at one point, has that happened again? Still haven't tried that.

Had a ticket in the cart for a while but let it go. Couldn't pull the trigger on the last minute trip (6 hours each way.) I'll brave the trade market and hate my life that I don't have a solid rtp from SC.

Fomo is real on this one.

Hoping it goes great for all involved and safe travels to the out of towers making the trip.

I'll see if I can find you a Hubris or Hop on Top from Lynnwood, with a bottling date within the last month. I'm not sure how often they are brewing/bottling it now, but they are very solid when fresh.

This is where I put this right?

Gonna funnel bud light variants all the way to Charleston ! Thanks for driving mateoloco and RayP ! Gonna be real !!
We did that last year kind of. We took a cooler and drank a growler and some bottles on the way down. Probably not the best idea though lol.

Edit: In the backseat, not driving

That guy is a ******* liar.

Although it's difficult for me to hide my shame over the ridiculous box of beer I sent for last year's BA Cakes. I do want to hit tequila again though that one was fire.

Last two DB Cakes I've had have been among my favorite stouts, straight up coconut bombs. Hilarious that anyone bad mouthed those beers.

**** I guess I'm ISO. I thought tequila had awesome coconut and vanilla flavors fresh and that the other two were very good but not god tier.

Vast majority of BA Cake FTs are offering 1 (or maaaaybe 2) from the 6-bottle allocation in a pathetic attempt to get 1pp (and/or ~300 count) bottles; some even have the gall to ask for two lol

If you're looking for one I'm probably going to try trading mine for Tree House cans and Trillium bottles. ;)

By the way for anyone wondering about the barrels used for the bourbon version, some of them were definitely Pritchard's bourbon barrels (and I don't mean the Pritchard's Double Chocolate). I know this because after they were emptied I bought one of them and inspected several others. I can't say if there were any other types mixed in though.

I was about to ask this... I got pretty drunk last night, so if this was mentioned sorry, but are all 4 bourbon variants going to have the same barrel treatment?

I'm 99% sure it's 4 bottles of the one labelled "Bourbon".

-The Coconut Bourbon bottles were, from what I heard, dumped back into the brite tank, refiltered to remove excess coconut flakes, and kegged. So no bottles of that most likely.

-I'm expecting the Pappy and Double Chocolate versions to be on-premise only at Westbrook and maybe Edmunds Oast. Possibly could show up at some festivals here or there? Who knows. But I'd seriously be surprised if they are sold to take away for the public.

I'm very pleased Westbrook decided to go with BPT. I know there will still be people crying come Saturday. I got my allotment/ticket right away with no issues yesterday hopefully it will go ty at smooth on Saturday. I was ablr to trade a set yesterday for a long time want and my regular trading partners will be very happy when they get some unexpected boxes next week.

Man, the allocation size for this release is great! Were you able to get a two 1pp (from separate releases) bottles for one each of your 4pp/2pp bottles?

I can only wish HF allocations were this big :D

in fairness, the 2014 DB Cake was meh fresh.
remember when the 2013 BA Cakes came out and most everyone initially ranked them AB> RW> JD? after 9 months or so that order flipped on its head, hard.

Yeah, I think most people liked tequila from the bottle and bourbon on draft initially last year. Now it seems like DB is the better one.
