OK.. everything is going good.. 7 days ago i rested my wart and I've been checking the temp and everything.. but today it's still boiling co2 like a hot tub..and hasn't really light'n up that much... is that normal and can i bottle today? thanks

yes it 1.04...maybe i'll give it some more time

maybe it will be daddy's xmas present then..lol

How long has it been since you added yeasts?

You got the gravity down to 1.04? WOW!! What did it start at?

i didn't check it when i started.. it's a mr beer kit

Reason I ask is that 1.04 seems pretty low to me - especially for a kit which would have a lot of LME which typically does not ferment that low.

If it's been three weeks since you put dropped the yeast in you are good to go. Anything before 3 weeks and I would not bottle yet! Remember 2-1-3 or 3-3

2 week fermentation - 1 week clearing and 3 weeks for carbing.

1.04 isn't that low, I don't think it's done...I just started a beer at 1.045... And if you still see CO2 bubbling, it is not done.

I brewed this as my first batch. Picked up an extract kit from my local homebrew store. My OG was 1.056 and my FG was 1.010 I let it sit in the primary fro 2 weeks and bottle condition for another week and it turned out great.
