Were to buy wire?

Best bet is to just go to store and buy the 50' rolls of wire. They cost about $12 locally to me. Farm stores, or hardware stores all have it in a variety of colors. You really don't need a 500' spool of wire which is what you generally find online.

I just got a couple extension cords and cut those up because wire is stupidly expensive around my parts so depending on the size you need that may be an option

You shouldn't use primary wire, its not rated for high voltage. Its meant for automotive use.

Neighborhood hardware store should have wire by the foot. Cleveland Circle, Harvard St. Call them, see what they have.

I found the THHN wire online at homedepot.com it is rated for 600v and oil/gas resistant. They have up to 10 gauge wire in 50ft spools in all the colors we are looking for red, black, white and green.

I bought both 10 and 14 gauge THHN by the foot at Home Depot, but that was only after screwing up and wiring 2/3rds of my panel with low voltage primary wire. That was a fun night when I realized what I had done!

Mine is a simple 1 element, 1 PID, 1 pump eBIAB, so YMMV, but I used about 15 ft of red and white 14 AWG, and just a couple feet of green and black. Only used 2 or 3 feet of each in 10 AWG.
