The local brew shop was having a "Big Brew Day" with folks all set up in the parking lot brewing away and showing off their equipment.
The wife really really really liked the idea of cooking beer outside.
Away from heating up the house.
Away from her new stove.

Looks like I'm the owner of a new toy: Blichmann HellFire!

Great burner. I got lucky when a used one managed to find me.

It really helped when I did my first BIAB batch. No other burner (I have) can keep up with it (unless I fire up my cutting torch ;)) and I have 3 other burners.

And since your wife now sees the benefit of equipment upgrades this justifies the purchasing of more, better, bigger, shinier, cooler, gadgety equipment. Strike while the iron is hot my friend!

You ain't kidding, brother. I also distill and she's been very supportive in both hobbies. Great woman! She even sprung for the leg extensions on it.
She considers this burner a gift for her as it gets me outta her kitchen!

With the break in the weather I moved my biab outside and love it. Filling the kettle and cooling wort plus clean up is so much easier with an RV hose and spray nozzle.

I just used mine for a small 5 gallon extract batch yesterday before I do my first 5 gallon (10 gallons of liquid) BIAB tomorrow so I could practice a little with it. Great burner.

One question I have, where can I store it? We don’t really have a spare storage room inside and outside is humid in Florida, even in the garage or patio and I don’t want it to rust. Can I avoid rust by simply covering it up?
